How To Get U.S. Coupons



How To Get U.S. Coupons
This blog is created for Canadians who want to find Coupons for the United States.
However, the information provided can be used by anyone!
I used to blog for Canadian Couponing as well as U.S. Couponing.
I know that "Border Hoppin Coupon Shoppin" can be FUN
and a GREAT way to get additional deals for your family.
I also understand that couponing in the U.S. is MUCH different than couponing in Canada
 I live in Rochester, NY and have been couponing for almost all my life, 40+ years :)
If you're heading to the U.S. from Canada and want to get Coupons this is how you can do it!
Please note that the U.S. does NOT have websites where you can order coupons to your home
like Websaver.ca or Save.ca etc. It just doesn't exist in the U.S. 
Please note that U.S. Coupon Stacking is different than in Canada.
You may use up to 1 Manufacturer Coupon PLUS 1 Store Coupon per Item.
This is different than using multiple coupons for the same item from
different sources / with different UPC's in Canada.
You will see it clearly stated across the top of the coupon :)

PRINTABLE COUPON SITES
Printable coupon sites go thru major changes the first of every month,
so when the end is near check into them and get everything you might possibly need
because your favorite could possibly go away when the new ones start hitting.
Also check U.S. websites (.com NOT .ca) and facebook pages for favorite brands
as sometimes you can get on email lists and receive printables via email
or there may be special offer / coupon tabs to obtain coupons there that you cannot otherwise get.
Please Note that Proctor & Gamble does NOT offers very few printable coupons in the U.S.
You can print P&G Coupons >>HERE<< but when registering,
use a different email than the one you use on P&G Canada or it will get confused. 

COUPON INSERTS
In the United States Coupon Inserts come out in the Sunday morning newspapers,
with the exception of the following major holidays:
New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Sunday newspapers can be found at grocery stores, gas stations and drug stores, etc.
Wegmans Grocery Stores now sell the Sunday Newspaper ALL WEEK!

Most stores sales run Sunday thru Saturday in the U.S.

Here is a posting that you will find very helpful if you plan on hitting up U.S. drug stores.
Drug Stores in the U.S. such as Walgreens, CVS and Rite Aid give out Catalinas for certain items on special.
Walgreens is the most complicated to learn of the 3.
Print the post and take it with you to the store if it helps.
And also ask the store associates for help, most are amazingly knowledgeable AND helpful.
Tell them before you ring up your items that you have never shopped at the store before,
and that you want to make sure you're doing your deals properly.
CVS & Rite Aid have Store Loyalty Cards NEEDED to get the deals, whereas Walgreens does not.
Ay CVS & Walgreens you can use your store rewards immediately on your next transaction.
At Rite Aid, the rewards are not available for use until the NEXT DAY.

 Walmart Coupon Shopping in the U.S. is almost completely identical that at Canadian Walmarts.

Target is another wonderful store for getting Coupon Deals AND Target does Coupon Stacking and Ad Matching!!!!
