My Black Friday Shopping Tips 2015
This is THEE Shopping Day of the Year for Bargain Hunters!
On Black Friday I feel like the Prom Queen on Prom Night!
HOWEVER you can bet your bippie I'm not leaving my Thanksgiving dinner table and time with family to do so.
If you're looking for Tips on How To Shop Black Friday This Is THEE Post for You!

TIP #1 PLAN AHEAD!
BUDGET ~ STORE LOCATIONS ~ TIMES OF SALES
HAVE A BUDGET & STICK TO IT!!!!!
If you don't compare ads you may not save as much money as you could have.
You CAN Ad Match, so take ALL your ads with you!
WHICH will not only save you money, BUT save you trips to multiple stores!
Plan out what time sales start at each store, so you goto the stores in the right order at the right times.
Have a WRITTEN list in your car so you don't have to try to remember while your half asleep shopping
and your brain is going 100 miles an hour snagging your hot deals.
DON'T Deviate from your shopping list or it will end up costing you more money than you had budgeted,
WHICH sticking to a budget is the key to saving money.. right???

TIP #2 TAKE A BABY STROLLER!
IF you don't have a small child at home anymore????
BORROW A STROLLER!
Most of the time shopping carts are just plain ole GONE!
This has happened to me at Target, Walmart & Toys R Us for example.
If you do mall stores, you won't have to carry 200lbs of baggage on your shoulders,
and will reduce your trips to the parking lot.
This baby stroller will be your shopping cart for the night!
You will be VERY happy if you do this!

TIP #3 EMPTY YOUR VEHICLE OUT AHEAD OF TIME!
Don't head out for Black Friday with anything in your vehicle except what you must have for that night! You will be shocked how much space your items will take up. Also, since we map our night out ahead of night (locations & times) we are able to go almost past our house and do an UNload, so you may wish to keep that as an option, depending upon where you live. Also bring a blanket to cover your purchases in your vehicle that may be visible. You don't want to encourage thieves. It's not unheard of for a car to be broken into and robbed.

TIP #4 SOME OF MY FAVORITE STORES!
Everyone has their faves to hit up. So here are a few of mine.
TARGET ~ What isn't awesome at Target LOL!
MACY'S ~ $19.99 Ladies Boots (Reg $59-$69) at Macy's are one of my FAVORITE Scores every Black Friday!!! HOT DEALS on Winter Coats & Clothing for the whole family, Example $15.99 Kids Puffer Coats (Reg $80-$85), Bedding, Small Appliances (CoffeeMakers, CrockPots etc), Cookware & Bakeware, Christmas Ornaments. Watch for their Morning Deals! I used to be an Operations Director at Macy's so as things get closer I'll give you more tips on how to do their sales!
WALMART ~ We ALWAYS hit up the Movies & Kids Pajamas! BEST DEALS of the YEAR on Those!!! TONS of Movies Starting at ONLY $1.96! I try to ONLY buy Movies & Pajamas on Black Friday, unless there's a rare sale+coupon deal during the year. Also HOT are Kids Bedding, Small Appliances & Electronics!
HINT HINT!!! Due to Zoning Ordinances, the Victor NY Walmart Store Does NOT Open Until Friday! SO if you miss items, or don't want to shop on Thanksgiving Day GO TO THE VICTOR NY STORE!!! Last year they opened at 7:00am on Friday!!! I will be checking the fine print on the ad when it comes out. There might be a couple other locations that will be listed nationally too with similar situation.
BESTBUY ~ AWESOME Deals on TV's, Computers and Gaming Systems!
HOME DEPOT ~ YES HOME DEPOT!!! LOVE their BF Deals!!! $.99 Live Poinsettias (these are the nice full size 6" pots usually have a red foil around the pot, they're BEAUTIFUL!!!), Ladders (wierd??? NOPE! They have AMAZING deals on ladders on BF! Those go VERY fast!!! If you want the ladders be there when the doors open!!!!), Batteries (HOT Battery Deals on BF!), and of course cool Tool Gift Sets at Amazing prices and great deals on Power Tools & Shop Vacs etc. I even got my area rug that I have under my kitchen table at Home Depot on Black Friday! ooooo I ALSO Scored a new Faucet for my Bathroom for ONLY $19!!! They also have Hot Deals on Applainces, most of which the pricing goes into effect ahead of time, so check the week before or a few days before and see if the item you want is already marked down to get that off your list before Black Friday.
LOWES ~ The Lowes Black Friday Ad Should be Leaking Later This Week! I'll keep my eyes open. Last year I got Metal Shelving I got some awesome VERY sturdy metal shelving for my stockroom only $45ea, these are at the top of my BF shopping list to get more this year as I absolutely LOVE THEM!!! I have NOT been able to find anything that compares all year.
PETSMART ~ You may not think of pet stores right away when you think of Black Friday BUT we have gotten AWESOME deals on Pet Toys, Cat Towers, Cat Litter & Pet Treats and Fish Tanks & Accessories! PetSmart Stores Open Fri 11/27 at 7:00am BUT EVERYTHING Goes LIVE ONLINE Thrs 11/26 at 7:00am EST!!!
DRUG STORES ~ Drug Stores have HUGE Lists of Items that will be FREE after Rewards. Plan ahead so you can be sure to snag thee deals. Many times they are MONEYMAKER if you use coupons too! I will have Coupon Matchups for Rite Aid, CVS & Walgreens.

KMART ~ We can always find giftables for the kids really cheap!
KOHLS ~ We always end up taking a stroll thru Kohls
to browse thru deals in the isles and in the kids department.
NOTE: Kohl's in Victor NY had DIFFERENT Store Hours than the National Hours last year!
Thrs 6pm-11pm THEN THEY CLOSE OVERNIGHT! Fri 7am-11pm & Sat 7am-11pm

TIP #7 TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!
Be sure to have HEALTHY snacks and water bottles packed in your car, caffeine if necessary. BUT be careful on your fluid intake, especially if you'll be standing outside a closed store for any length of time waiting for it to open.
Protein is important if you think you're going to stay awake for 2 days straight. If you're like me you're a mom too, and having children it's not like we can go home and sleep all day after it's all over LOL!
Also pack things like Ibuprofin, facial tissues, bathroom tissue (better to have some in case stores run out LOL).
Don't leave home without needed prescription either! That could be DISASTROUS!
Layer your clothing so you can take things on and off between standing in outdoor lines for long periods of time and hot crowded stores.
Fill your car with gas ahead of time.

 Tip #8 TOYS
Personally, I don't buy much for Toys on Black Friday,
in fact I don't think I bought a single toy last year in stores on Black Friday.
Target has a HUGE 70% CLEARANCE Sale on Toys Every January & July,
so I focus on my toy gift shopping then.
I also use 90% Target Holidays Clearance scores from throughout the year for my Stocking Stuffers, and smaller giftables.
I pretty much stalk for 70% Clearance in ALL department throughout the year, with gifting in mind!
For Dress Up Clothing & Accessories at Christmas Time for my girls I hit up after Halloween Clearance Sales!
