January is the BEST Month of the Year to Find CLEARANCE in the Baby Dept!
So if you have a little one, are pregnant, or will be attending a baby shower...
GET TO TARGET THIS MONTH!
Baby Department markdowns are usually done on Mondays.
Items in regular departments do NOT hit 90% OFF like the seasonal department does.
Discounts on items in regular departments will hit 30% OFF, then 50% OFF and finally 70% OFF.
An associate MUST SCAN an item to trigger the next lowest Clearance price,
unlike the seasonal department which is switched internally at corporate.
ALWAYS SCAN ITEMS AT THE PRICE CHECKERS!!!
You can also check Brickseek.com for Target Inventory & Price on items with the DPCI# and your zip code.
(Brickseek is NOT owned by Target, BUT I have found it to be accurate 99% of the time!)
Don't always believe the large red isle signs,
percentages can be lower than the signs indicate
AND the Pricing can also be LOWER than the Red Clearance Ticket!
Percentages Off CAN VARY by location,
as well as the items that are on Clearance,
SO IF you have more than one location near you...
HIT ALL OF THEM!
