$5.00/2 Clairol Products (Herbal Essenses???) Coupon ~ MY THOUGHTS

$5.00/2 Clairol Products (Herbal Essenses???) Coupon

Just a personal note on the
$5.00/2 Clairol Products Coupon received in today's P&G Insert.

There is some hubbub regarding the coupon and it's usage.

Bloggers are stating, and it is true, that Herbal Essences is a Clairol Product.

I personally believe the intended use of the coupon is for Clairol Hair Color Products.
I personally will not be using this coupon on Herbal Essences Products In Store,
nor will I be posting it's usage as such.
Even my daughter stated "It's not wrong... but it's not right either.".
I just feel too guilty about taking advantage of what is obviously a mistake in vagueness on a coupon.
I have seen over the years how coupon misuage has affected couponing in general.
I hope to keep couponing real for the long term.
There are endless other ways to get FREE Shampoo & Conditioner :)

I posted A question to P&G Everyday on Facebook last night.
P&G everyday Looking for clarification. $5.00/2 Clairol Products Coupon in 7/7 P&G Sunday Coupon Insert. I am assuming this is NOT for usage on Herbal Essences Shampoos, Conditioners etc even though they technically are a Clairol product? There appears to be controversy in the coupon blogger world. Questions have also been posted on Herbal Essences & Clairol facebook pages. Clairol is advising fans to "give it a try"??? I would personally assume it is for hair color products. Please advise P&G's intended use for this coupon to clear up all the confusion. Thank you in advance

HERE IS THEIR RESPONSE TODAY (Monday 7/8/13)
P&G everyday Hi Extreme Couponing Mommy,
Thank you for your question. Each coupon has the P&G coupon usage policy included. However, the decision to accept coupons is at the discretion of the store manager where you are shopping. When in doubt you can visit the Coupon Information Center for P&G coupon usage policies:http://www.couponinformationcenter.com, but be sure to check with your local store manager. ~Nikki
